Who decides what is in it

The person running the event, not us. They typed the names, they chose what it is carrying, and they can change or remove any of it. We keep it running for them and do nothing else with it.

What is in it about you

Your first name, as they typed it. A photograph of you, if you or they added one. Whatever you write into it yourself — a memory, a quote, a line on a board, an expense. What you did in the event: points, challenges, who paid for what. That is all of it. There is no email address, no phone number and no account.

The link you were sent is what proves the app is you, so it is worth not forwarding. It works only for your own event and only for your own part of it.

How long

Photographs and the memories board are kept for 30 days after the event closes unless the organiser is paying for longer — for a year after the event closes, or kept while the event exists. The rest of the event stays with the organiser until they delete it.

If you want out

Ask whoever is running the event. They can take you out of it, and the app is built so that doing so does not break what everybody else can see. If that gets you nowhere, write to hello@fayla.party and say which event it is; we will deal with it whatever the organiser thinks about it.

If there is a photograph of you in it that you want gone, that is the same ask and it is taken seriously the first time.

What nobody can see

Not even the person running it can read another player’s secret mission before the end, what anybody scored a round before the reveal, or anything sealed until the event opens it. That is enforced by the software rather than by everybody behaving.

Nor can we. The people who run this site can see that your event exists and how big it is; there is no way from our end to read what is in it, and none to open it as anybody. The privacy notice says exactly what we do see.
