Fayla

A weekend worth winning.

Secret missions nobody can see coming, a forfeit wheel that decides the rest, and a scoreboard everybody keeps checking. Build it in an evening. Send one link. Just show up.

How it goes

Step 1

Build it in an evening

Pick the kind of event and take what suits from a catalogue of challenges, games, secret missions and trophies that are already written. Set the plan, and the shopping list writes itself. An evening on the sofa, not a spreadsheet.

Step 2

Send one link

One link into the group chat. Everybody taps their name and they are in — no account, no password, nothing to install. The one thing that needs proving, a secret mission, proves itself with a link of its own.

Step 3

Run it from your phone

Release a challenge when it suits the room, award the points, spin the wheel, settle the bill. Close it out on the drive home and everyone gets the record of it.

What it’s like

“Nobody looked at their phone for the wrong reason all weekend. Just to see who was winning.”

Best man, Cork

“We built the whole thing on the train down. Took less time than picking a restaurant.”

Maid of honour, Dublin

“Half of them had never met before Friday. They had by the second forfeit.”

Groomsman, Toronto

Early stories from the first weekends — yours could be the next one.

Have a look at one

A whole weekend, mid-run, that anybody can poke at. Everybody in it is invented and the links below are published on purpose.

Or walk in as one of them

What kind of thing are you running?

Same product, different words and a different catalogue in front of it — pick the one closest to yours.

Everything is a switch

Every part of it turns on and off for each event, so a hen weekend with no secret missions, an offsite with the plan and the bill and nothing that scores, and a kids' party with no forfeits are all the same product with different switches thrown.

The basics

Who is coming, their links, the look and the words.

Challenges

Things to do, released when they suit the crowd.

Points

A leaderboard, points for challenges, undo for mistakes.

Teams

Split the room into sides, and add every side up as it goes.

Secret missions

A sealed mission each day; nobody knows what anybody else drew.

Trophies

A cabinet of awards, your own among them, handed out or put to a vote, and a ceremony at the end.

Forfeits

A wheel, a menu, and who is carrying what.

Games in the bag

Card and party games with rules on the phone.

Live rounds

Vote rounds, blind hats and call-and-response, run from one phone.

Brackets and cupsparty

Knockouts and round-robins with the draw done for you.

Running counts

Who did it most, counted by everyone.

Boards

A quote board, and predictions sealed until the end.

The break-inparty

A password to crack for points, checked so it is never in the app.

The plan

Days, times, places, and a nudge when it is time.

Prep and shopping

What to bring, what to buy, what the venue already has.

Nudges

Web push to every phone that opted in.

Faces

A photo of each person beside their name.

Photo uploadsparty

Proof on a challenge, a photo on a memory, receipts on the bill, a gallery in the wrap.

Memories

Everyone writes what they will remember.

The wrap

Close it out: the record, the stats, an export, an optional story.

The bill

Who paid, who owes, in more than one currency.

Share the wrapparty

A read-only link for the people who were not there.

What it costs

Free

€0

Ten people, the core of it, an address we pick. Enough to find out whether your group takes to it at all.

Nothing to pay and nothing renews.

Party

€49

One event, every switch available, the address you choose. About a fiver a head on a weekend that is costing each of them five hundred.

Paid once, for one event. Nothing renews. Refunded in full within 14 days of paying if the event has not been published.

Planner

€19 a month

For somebody who runs several a year: as many events as you like, the whole catalogue early, and the assistant and the MCP server on tap. €149 for a year.

Renews every month, or every year on the yearly price, until you cancel. Cancel any time and it runs to the end of what you paid for; nothing more is taken.

Business

€99 a month

Companies, invoiced, with your own brand on it. €249 per event instead, because a social committee can expense an invoice and cannot start a subscription.

Monthly, renewing until you cancel, and it runs to the end of what you paid for. Per event, paid once and nothing renews.

Start on Free today — no card, no trial clock. Nothing is for sale yet on the paid tiers; these are the prices for the day they open. What renews, what does not and what is refunded is in the terms, and it says the same there as here.

Everything you could put in one

The catalogue is the whole of it: every challenge and every game with its rules written out, what it needs and who it suits. Browse it before you decide whether any of this is for you.

Hear the day it opens

Leave an address and you get one email, the day the paid tiers open. Nothing before it and nothing after.

Kept for twelve months, then deleted on its own. One email when it opens and nothing else, ever, to anybody. Changed your mind? Put the same address in and press .
