What this is

Fayla gives you a scoreboard, a catalogue of things to do, and one link per person for an event you are running. You build it, you send the links, you run it from your phone. It is a tool for something you are organising, not an organiser.

What is yours

The event is yours. What you and the people in it write into it — names, the memories board, quotes, expenses, photographs — stays yours, and you can take all of it out at any time as one file. Nothing in it is sold, advertised against, or used to train anything.

The catalogue is ours: the challenges, missions, trophies, forfeits and the rules written for them. Use them in your event as much as you like. Do not republish the catalogue itself as a product.

Who can run one

You have to be 18 or over to have an account here and run an event, and you say so the first time you use a sign-in link. The people you send links to have no account and are not asked anything, which is why the next part is yours.

If any of them are children — a kids’ party is a kind of event here — you are the adult responsible for them in it. Put in first names only, add a photograph of a child only with their parent’s say-so, and leave out anything a parent in the room would not want.

What is expected of you

You are responsible for the people you send links to and for what your event asks them to do. That matters more here than in most products, because a forfeit is a dare and a dare can go wrong: set the tone honestly, leave out anything the room has not agreed to, and look after each other.

Do not put anybody in an event who has not agreed to be there, do not upload a photograph of somebody who would not want it uploaded, and do not use this for anything that would be a problem without it. If somebody asks to be taken out of your event, take them out.

What we do not promise

This is a small thing run by a small number of people. It will sometimes be down. Keep nothing here that exists nowhere else — that is what the export is for, and why one is sent before anything is ever deleted.

Nothing here is a guarantee that your weekend will be good. That part is yours.

Money

Nothing is for sale yet. The free tier is free, and when the paid ones open, this is how they work. The prices are on the home page, and what is below is said again beside every button that takes money.

Party is paid once, for one event. It does not renew and nothing is taken again. It is refunded in full if you ask within 14 days of paying and the event has not been published; publishing is when it is used, so once it is published there is no refund.

Planner and Business by the month or the year renew at the end of each month or year, at the price you signed up at, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the link on your receipt; it then runs to the end of the period you paid for and nothing more is taken. After that your events are on the free tier’s limits, including how long photographs are kept, and an export of an event is emailed to whoever built it before anything in it is deleted. Business per event is paid once, like Party.

Payments are taken by our reseller, Lemon Squeezy, whose checkout shows the price in your currency with your country’s tax on it before you pay, and whose receipt carries the link to manage or cancel. If we ever change what a tier carries for somebody already paying for it, they will hear it from us first.

Ending it

You can stop using it whenever you like and take your events with you. We can close an account that is being used to hurt somebody, and an export goes with it.
