How to run it
One deck. Deal three each. To start with: draw one, play one.
The cards that change it
- A Jack changes how many you draw — name a number from one to four. It stays until the next Jack.
- A Queen changes how many you play. Same rule.
- A King sets the goal — say what somebody has to be holding or have in front of them to win. It stays until the next King.
- Anything else goes in front of you and counts as what it is.
Worth knowing
- The goal on the table when you meet it is the goal that counts. Meeting an old one is nothing.
- The rule that is in force is the last one played, not the loudest one argued for.
- Somebody will win by accident on the third turn. Deal again.
What you need
- A deck of cards

Stop the Bus Champion
Three games of Stop the Bus. Never ride the bus and the points are yours.
Kings
One round of Kings. Agree the house rules before the first card, because agreeing them at midnight is how arguments start.
