How to run it
One deck, shuffled. Agree in one sentence where you are and what you are there for.
The turn
- Whoever is up says what they are going to do about it. One thing, out loud, in a sentence.
- Cut the deck. Red and it worked, and you say how. Black and it did not, and the man on your left says how.
- A face card is worse than it looks: whatever happened, something else has now gone wrong.
- Next man.
Worth knowing
- Nobody plans. The rule is that you say it before you have thought about it.
- Get through the deck and you made it. It is not a hard game; it is a game about the telling.
- Anybody can end a turn early by saying "and then" and handing it on.
What you need
