How to run it

One target, agreed before the first shot.

The rule

1. Decide what counts before anybody swings — the hole on a crazy-golf course, the target rings on a driving range, whatever the venue actually has.
2. Play on. The moment somebody hits it, the round stops for everybody else and the points are awarded.
3. Nobody hits it all round? Nobody scores. That is a fine result too.

Worth knowing

• A ball that hits the target on the bounce still counts, unless you agreed otherwise beforehand.

What you need

• A booked round of pitch-and-putt, a driving range or crazy golf — Whichever one it is, it scores the same way here venue

Nothing here has to be bought.

Before the day

Agree before you start what counts at your venue — a hole, a target net, a marked ring on the driving range — so nobody argues after the fact.

If it goes badly

Fetches everybody's balls off the far end of the range.
