How to run it
Runs all the weekend. Sips or water, never shots, and nobody has to drink at all.
The rule
- The groom says the line and the room drinks.
- Whoever set him up for it claims it out loud, there and then.
- Unclaimed ones do not count. Call it, then put it in the app — anyone can tap the count, and it is the same number on every phone.
Worth knowing
- Getting him to say it is the game. Asking him to say it is not.
- He knows the rule. Watching somebody dodge their own catchphrase for days is most of the fun.
- Anybody else who says it drinks on their own.
- Most claimed over the weekend takes the points.
What you need
Nothing. The people in the room and a phone between you.
Before the day
Agree the line on the first day, before the groom is listening. It has to be something he already say, not something you want him to say.
If it goes badly
Say it yourself and you drink on your own. It is the groom's line, not yours.
