How to run it
Read straight off the same screen as Last Frame Standing.
The rule
- Count the gutter balls the screen shows for each man, over the whole game.
- Most gutters takes the prize. A tie is shared, gutter for gutter.
- This runs alongside the real score, not instead of it — the worst bowler in the room can hold both titles at once.
Worth knowing
- A bumper lane cannot post a gutter ball, so this one is for the lanes running straight.
What you need
- Booked lanes at a bowling alley — Shoes, balls and a screen that keeps the score for you venue
Nothing here has to be bought.
Before the day
The screen usually shows a gutter as a zero with a little symbol next to it — check what your alley uses before the game starts.
If it goes badly
Bowls the next frame with the other hand.
