Fayla

The Introduction

Pair up across the room, three minutes each way, then introduce the man you were paired with — including one thing you have made up.

How to run it

Pairs, one from each side of the room. Three minutes each way, then introductions.

The turn

  1. Introduce your man to the room. Thirty seconds, no notes.
  2. Everything you say is true except one thing.
  3. The room votes on which bit was the lie.
  4. He confirms it.

Paying out

What you need

Nothing. The people in the room and a phone between you.

Before the day

Pair people who do not already know each other, every time. Do the pairing yourself — left to themselves they will pair with whoever they came with.

If it goes badly

Anyone whose lie sails through unnoticed has to keep telling it all weekend.

Add this to your event

Fayla builds the whole weekend around it — a scoreboard everybody can see, a shopping list that writes itself out of the things you picked, and one link for the group chat.
