How to run it
One sealed guess, about yourself.
The rule
- Before teeing off, everybody writes down the score they think they will actually finish on.
- Seal it and play the round.
- Closest to your own guess, over or under, takes it. The best golfer in the group has no advantage at all.
Worth knowing
- This is not about winning the round — a bad round called exactly can beat the best score on the card.
What you need
- A booked round of pitch-and-putt, a driving range or crazy golf — Whichever one it is, it scores the same way here venue
Nothing here has to be bought.
Before the day
Take the predictions on the first tee, before anybody has hit a shot that could change their mind.
If it goes badly
Reads out every guess before the actual scores, in the manner of an after-dinner speaker.
