Fayla

The Terrible Pitch

Sixty seconds to pitch a deliberately dreadful product to the room, with total conviction and a made-up market size.

Needs

Nothing at all

How long

30 min

Suits

Anybody in the room

Effort

Sitting down

Drink

None needed

How to run it

Sixty seconds each, standing up, straight face.

The pitch

  1. Draw a product. You get thirty seconds to think and sixty to sell.
  2. Name, market, price, and one made-up number with a decimal point in it.
  3. One hostile question from the room at the end. Answer it.

Paying out

What you need

Nothing. The people in the room and a phone between you.

Before the day

Draw the products from the bank below rather than letting people choose. Chosen ones are always worse.

Fayla builds the whole weekend around it — a scoreboard everybody can see, a shopping list that writes itself out of the things you picked, and one link for the group chat.
