What is a good party game for a group who have never met?
Anything that makes people say something true about themselves in under thirty seconds. Pairing everybody off to introduce each other, or a round where each person gives one line, gets a room talking faster than anything competitive.
How many people do you need?
Three is enough for most of these and none of them break above twenty, because nothing here depends on everybody being in one place at the same time.
Do party games need a prize?
No, but they need a score. People play harder for a number on a board than for anything you could buy them.
